I would like to point out that through practice the whole apparatus of thought and brain activity may be reconfigured (including the dominant areas, and there are more options than hemisphere.)
It is not surprising that psychedelics may trigger or reboot these internal features.
If we dug deeper, it might be that left hemisphere thinkers are more rigid in their thoughts, and right hemisphere are more psycho-emotive/intuitive.
